It was a pleasure to welcome Kevin Baskerville, General Manager at Topland, Abu Dhabi, UAE, to visit the Starfish Labs UK offices.
Our CEO, Neil, has known Kevin for many years since they first met at the Department for Business & Trade in Whitehall, London, where they were both pitching EdTech ideas to a delegation from Saudi Arabia.
They now normally meet in Abu Dhabi, Dubai or online, so it was great to welcome him on home territory. Kevin is a goldmine of information and contacts in the GCC region and has recently moved from the Public to the Private sector – bringing his extensive knowledge of Autism, Learning Disability and People of Determination to Topland – rapidly becoming the leading regional provider of assistive technology in the GCC States.
Neil and Kevin moved on to visit Derwen College later in the morning. Thanks to Meryl Green and Daniel Rowley for making Kevin so welcome and showcasing Derwen College and the great work they do in vocational training.
